CATMON, CEBU —The Catmon Municipal Police Station has officially emerged as the top-performing unit among all Class “C” Municipal Police Stations under the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) for the month of February 2026. This prestigious Number 1 ranking comes as a result of the station’s aggressive and highly successful implementation of the PNP’s “Manhunt Charlie,” a nationwide campaign specifically targeted at the apprehension of wanted persons. By consistently hitting operational targets and streamlining its service of warrants, the Catmon police force has set a new provincial benchmark for efficiency and law enforcement excellence in small-scale municipalities.
This milestone was achieved under the decisive leadership of PCPT Verano K. Sacpa, who serves as the station’s Officer-in-Charge. Through his strategic operational direction and sound supervisory practices, PCPT Sacpa successfully mobilized his team to enhance their field performance and meet rigorous provincial standards.
