Daanbantayan, Cebu – In a stirring display of commitment, the 701st Maneuver Company celebrates the 28th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month with an exceptional Community Outreach Program to uplift the spirits of the local community through a series of noteworthy activities.
Led by Pmsg Ressan Moralde, the 701st MC, RMFB 7 Personnel, together with Daanbantayan PS, Company Advisory Council, KKDAT, and Bantayan LGU Officials, conducted a series of PCR activities on July 23, 2023, in Sitio Lower Bantigue, Brgy Agujo, Daanbantayan, Cebu. The activity commenced with the distribution of slippers to members of the community. Following the heartwarming slipper distribution was the Feeding Activity, where a nutritious meal was provided to the community. Lastly, one of the highlights of the program was the Drug Awareness and Anti-Terrorism Lecture.
Realizing the threat posed by terrorism and drug abuse, they took proactive action in educating the community about the dangers of drug addiction and terrorism. Through factual presentations and agreeable discussions, this unit provided the residents with knowledge that could help them make reasonable decisions in the future.
The collaborative efforts of various law enforcement agencies have once again demonstrated their commitment to maintaining peace and upholding the law by inspiring others to take on similar ventures and by strengthening the bond between the police organization and the community they proudly serve.
The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7 remains determined in its mission to prevent criminality, ensure public safety, and maintain peace and order in the community. Furthermore, it urges the public to actively support and contribute to the maintenance of peace and order in the region.
