Bogo City, Cebu – The 701st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7 demonstrated exceptional efficiency and coordination today, July 11, 2023, as they successfully apprehended two wanted individuals in different areas of operation as part of ongoing Minor Combat/Clearing Operation OPORD N14-2023 PAKIPAGKAPWA.
At around 09:10 in the morning, PLT Verano K Sacpa led the personnel from the 701st MC RMFB7, in collaboration with the Compostela Municipal Police Station, CIU CCPO, and CMFC LCPO, in apprehending alias “Alvin”. The 24-year-old Filipino male, residing in Barangay Maslog, Danao City, Cebu, is wanted for his for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165). At around 11:40 in the morning, the same unit, in coordination with the Bogo City Police Station, CIU CCPO, and CMFC LCPO, served the warrant against alias “Jhe”. The 35-year-old Filipino female, residing in Barangay Dakit, Bogo City, Cebu, was apprehended for her alleged violation of RA 1161 as amended by RA 8282.
Both apprehended individuals were successfully turned-over to the concerned police station for proper disposition. The success of these operations showcases the unwavering commitment of the Philippine National Police in their pursuit of justice and the preservation of peace within the communities they serve.
Under the leadership of the newly installed Force Commander PCol Dyan V Agustin, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7 remains steadfast in fulfilling its duty to uphold peace and order in Northern Cebu. RMFB 7 will continue to actively carry out its mandate in the region.
