Bogo City, Cebu – the 701st Maneuver Company, RMFB 7, led by Police Lieutenant Verano Sacpa, spearheaded a transformative initiative – a Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-up Drive in the picturesque Barangay Siocon of Bogo City.
This remarkable endeavor drew enthusiastic participation from various stakeholders, including Atty. Carla Zoila Aton, Chairperson of the Company Advisory Council, dedicated members of KKDAT, and the benevolent contributors from Rotary Metro Bogo District 3860. Together, they embarked on a mission to rejuvenate their coastal habitat.
A staggering total of One Hundred Sixty (160) Mangrove seedlings found a new home during this event, as diligent hands worked together to ensure a greener and cleaner future for Bogo City.
Beyond the numbers, this endeavor signifies much more. It is a resounding commitment to maintaining a pristine environment, nurturing public health, and championing the protection of marine wildlife. In essence, it encapsulates the essence of the “Pulis-Makakalikasan” initiative, a core value of the Philippine National Police.
